THE POOL HERO SYSTEM

The Pool Hero System is a three-step solution from LayorCare for managing calcium and mineral buildup in pools and spas. Step 1 (Clean) uses Heavy Calcium Releaser to remove existing calcium and scale. Step 2 (Protect) applies Cal Block to seal surfaces with a nano-barrier. Step 3 (Treat) uses Pool Hero as a weekly water treatment to prevent new buildup. Used together, they keep surfaces clean and water clear all season.

For startup or problem water, add 8 oz per 10,000 gallons directly to the pool with the pump running. For weekly maintenance once your water is conditioned, add 4 oz per 10,000 gallons once per week, poured slowly around the perimeter of the pool. No pre-dilution is needed.

You can swim 30 minutes after application.

Most pools use one gallon every 8 to 10 weeks, depending on pool size and calcium levels. Larger pools and pools in hot, high-calcium regions such as Arizona, Nevada, Texas, and Southern California typically run an 8-week cycle. Standard residential pools with normal calcium levels usually run a 10-week cycle.

Pool Hero keeps calcium and minerals suspended in the water so they cannot bond to tile, surfaces, and equipment and harden into white scale. By treating the water before deposits can form, it stops scale at the source rather than removing it after the fact.

It will not etch most surfaces, but as with any strong cleaner, always test in an inconspicuous area first.

Cal Block is a spray-on, wipe-off nano-barrier. Apply every 3 to 6 months to greatly reduce calcium, scale, and efflorescence buildup and to keep future cleanings easy. Most pool owners apply at the start of the season and again after any major surface cleaning.
