Application Details:
Shingle Seal comes in convenient 5-gallon pails and yields up to 10 gallons of usable product. Each gallon covers approximately 200–500 sq. ft. at 2 mils thickness, providing a thorough and lasting protective coat. Dries to the touch in just 1 hour at 77°F and 50% relative humidity.
Preparation and Application:
For best results, ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from defects or contaminants. Shingle Seal can be applied by sprayer, brush, or roller, and may be thinned 50/50 with tap water for added versatility. Do not apply if temperatures are below 45°F. Optimal performance occurs when surface and air temperatures are between 60°F and 100°F.
Clean-Up:
Cleanup is simple and hassle-free — brushes, rollers, and spray equipment can be rinsed with tap water until it runs clear. Any overspray should be wiped away within 15 minutes using mild soap and water.
